You should see the top layer that has an

Shift / D to duplicate, close out the original

It should be be a little taller than it is wide.
3 (E) Eye Dropper

Right click on a darker color from your graphic.
I think a lighter and darker shade of the
same color ends up looking nice.
Use your own judgement.
Be sure your Material Palette is set to colors.

You can closeout your graphic if you like.
We are done with it.
5 (F) Flood Fill Tool:

32 (F) Flood Fill Tool:
Fill the area with your chosen color.
At this point exercise your creativity and
add any textures or effects that you think
would compliment your frames. Remember
you are making a backdrop for the frames.
I have EyeCandy5 and like to fill with an
effect from that changing the Foreground
color and background colors on the Basic
page to the colors that I selected earlier from
the graphic.. and clicking on the seamless
option!
33 If you have not made this seamless you
will need to do that now..
Use any method you choose, one method
in PSP8 is to use:
Effects / Image Effects / Seamless Tiling
Settings:
Mirror, Vertical
34 (Ctrl + C) Edit / Copy
35 (Ctrl + D) Selections / Select None
36 Magic Wand:
Click on the Green area

37 Selections / Modify / Expand = 1
38 (Ctrl + Shift + L)
Edit / Paste / Paste into Selection
39 Effects / 3D Effects / Inner Bevel
40 (D) Deform Tool
Layers / Convert to Raster Layer (if needed)
Because of the Inner bevel at the top and
bottom , to get the seamless effect you need
to stretch the top and bottom so the beveled
parts at the top and bottom go past the edges a bit.
Click on the little square in the middle
and drag upwards just a bit.
Click on the little square in the middle in the
bottom part and pull down just a bit.

41 Effects / Image Effects / Seamless Tiling
Settings:
Mirror, Vertical
42 Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow
Settings:
Vertical and Horizontal both = 3
Opacity = 30, Blur = 3, Color = Black
43 (A) Pan Tool
This is just to remove the deformation tool
43 Turn off any active layers and turn on
the (BG) background layer. Make it the active
layer
44 (F) Flood Fill Tool:
Fill with either of your matching colors that
you selected from your graphic. This will
be the color that the text will be written on.
45 Adjust / Add-Remove Noise / Add Noise
Settings:
Gaussian and Monochrome checked
Noise = 10
46 Turn all the layers back on and let's see
what you've got!
47 (M) Mover Tool:
Arrange the 3 frames in a manner that is
pleasing to your eye.
Do not allow the dropshadows to touch or
overrun the edges. It will look bad.
You can go over the beveled edge but not
over the edge on the right side where the
text will be going.
48 At this point you can add layers of tubes
or text to dress up your creation and put
your personal touch on it. You would be
surprised how that can improve the
appearance of your creation!
49 Make any last minute changes then
Layers / Merge / Merge All Layers
50 Add a layer if you'd like and add your
watermark.
51 Save as a jpg.. You can be more lenient
with your compression level and go for better
quality since this will be tiled.
Note: When you put this in Letter Creator
set your left text margin at 408 on the body
page.
Don't forget to engage the tile button too!
Remember to Watermark your creations!
