KnT_Blends2 Course/Classes

MISSION STATEMENT:

The mission is to give you the tools to make your own unique and beautiful blends with your own choice of graphics and PSP tubes using Paint Shop Pro.

ABOUT THIS COURSE:
2 lessons should be completed each week.
Some of the things that we cover in this course is using the arithmetic option, cheezy technique, airbrush, the sinking feeling technique, spicing up your completed blends with selections, grunge layer techniques, feathering technique, extensive eraser use with my personal settings, shoebox blending, soft blending techniques, using gradients for cool blending effects and purposes and a little more! ha-ha
The ideas for this course came from area's that were not covered in the Blends 1 course and from observing others trying to blend and spotting their weaknesses.

This course is not a collection of tutorials like you find on web sites. Tutorials are out there and becoming more plentiful everyday as more and more people get interested in the blending craze.
Unlike following online tutorials that already have the solutions worked out so you can repeatedly get the same results as everyone else, the lessons in this course are designed to give you the beginnings of experience, skills and knowledge to make your own blends and are designed for the true creative nature that the graphic artist has in their heart.

You will see that throughout this course you will do a lesson, then a lot of times you are asked to repeat the lesson using your own choice of graphics/tubes and see what you can come up with on your own. Sometimes it is repeating the lesson basically step for step and sometimes it will require you breaking away from that lesson and going out on your own to get practice and get your mind into that creative experimentation and expression. Your completed results will be reviewed by an instructor that will be assigned to you. Our instructor's will give you feedback and tips along the way with a good serving of encouragement to help create the proper learning atmosphere for you.

NEW TO Paint Shop Pro? OH oh!!

This course is definitely not a PSP beginners course.
I assume that you have all the basic skills and ask that you have at least intermediate skills in PSP for this course and things like using the Move Tool to move tubes around, making selections with the Freehand Selection Tool, Resizing graphics, Copying and Paste, making your own frames, how to use masks etc. The aim is not to teach tool basics, but to teach and focus on blending techniques and giving you the knowledge to make your own.
Intermediate is good. Advanced Intermediate is better.
