Removing Shortcuts:
If you want to remove any shortcut that
appears on your toolbars:
Hold your Alt key down, click on the icon
and drag it off unto the work area.
Poof ! It is removed!
Selecting a toolbar to Customize:
Selecting a toolbar to make into a customized
toolbar can be done by selecting one that
you do not use.
For me it is the Web, another choice might
be Photo instead if you do not use the
Photo toolbar very much.
To make the inactive toolbar active:
View > Toolbars .. Select the one you
want to use and then remove the icons
that you do not want to use from it.
Voila' ! Now you can use this toolbar for
your own purposes! Kewl!
Accessing the Shortcut Dialog:
Method One
View > Customize
Method Two
Right click in the Menu bar, Tool Palette
or the Tool Options palette.
Then select "Customize"
Adding Shortcuts:
With the Shortcut Dialog open, you
can click and drag the shortcut icons
to where you want them to appear.
You can click on the category list
to find the effect etc that you want to
add.
Just click and drag to your toolbar to add
one.
Tip:
If you have a problem finding a shortcut
then you can click on the All Commands
in the Categories list at the bottom to see
them all.
Rearranging your shortcut icons:
Hold the Alt key down and click and drag
a shortcut icon to where you would like
it to be.
Using shortcuts that you set up can streamline
your work process, make it quicker, easier
and more organized.
